- 2024 XC60 T8 Recharge
New XC60 owner here!
We moved to a '25 XC60 T8 Hybrid from a '22 XC40 Ultimate Recharge. We're loving it in the month we've had it. We wanted a Hybrid for longer trips. Charging anxiety is an issue living in the Southwest. Not a lot of chargers (including Tesla) for making big trips. Still kinda scary making a trip and depending on ONE DC charger that might or might now be operational!
The XC60 has a much smoother ride and a bit more power 455hp vs. 403hp. More room inside for hauling stuff. I do miss the smaller size of the XC40. It was so easy to maneuver and park. But, overall, the T8 version is a classier vehicle.
The XC40 was plagued by lots of bugs, recalls and issues. So far, the XC60 has been great. This is actually our 5th Volvo in 30 years, we are definitely Volvo fans.
