2022 Volvo XC60 B5 infotainment sound system issue

Having trouble with the infotainment system. Frequent periods of time when no sound is emitted from radio, any app, car blinker, or “Hey Google” function. My phone connects and will play via bluetooth or through cord connection but again no sound is emitted from the speakers. Sometimes the infotainment system restarts itself but this is occurring less frequently. Lately I found toggling between drivers helps to reset the infotainment system however that doesn’t seem to be working now. I have been without sound for the last 2 days. The issue seems to be occurring more and more frequently and I have the latest download from Volvo.

Any suggestions? Is this common?

Sometimes you need to do an IHU Reset. Hold down the button below the screen for about 25 sec until the screen goes first to 'Cleaning mode', then to black. It resets the internal system. Seems like you have do this every now and again when things get goofy.
