Problem: Infotainment screen dead when starting a journey or goes on and off when driving. When completely dead, to get it going again, I disconnect the battery and re-connect and it comes back to life. I had been getting intermittent "Low Battery" messages, but these have stopped now. The first time it went completely dead was during a cold spell (below zero centigrade for several days running), perhaps this was the death knell for an already dying battery? I have no problems starting the car, only problems with Infotainment System.

Strangeness: When the Infotainmemt screen is dead, the Auto Stop Start now works ALL the time having rarely worked for years.

Does this sound like dying battery? Or is it a more sinister problem with the Infotainment system.
