Hi: I am a new member but a Volvo driver for about 4 years. My right side Headlight etc suddenly quit working. I pulled the fuse, it was blown and I then replaced it. It immediately blew again. My dealer says that the headlight assembly, 2 controllers, and a power supply must be replaced. Thankfully this car is still under warranty but I am wondering if I can afford to keep it once expired. Can you imagine paying $5000 - $6000 to replace a headlight. Also, I wonder what kind of root cause failure other than say lightning or a wreck would cause ALL of those components to fail. Any ideas ?
